Olivia Munn in a Hawaii Chair

Okay, so "next week" turned into "next month." These days there's always something that needs to be done, and unfortunately blogging isn't that high on the list. I remember I posted about an invention that would extract your thoughts and put them into text. More than ever do we need this, not just for blogging purposes but imagine the possibilities in the fields of interrogation, recruitment, and most importantly romance. Does she love me or not? Finally you can get a definite answer and it would render all romantic movies obsolete.

Harry: "Oh, so that's what you're thinking!"
Sally: "Yeah..."

I also posted about the Eloi, and an interesting thought came up while riding the bus yesterday. What if cows once dominated society and their current lethargic nature is due to having solved all possible problems? Can you imagine grand cow kingdoms in 500k BC with flying cow cars where every cow is a capable and polite driver? Then as years gone by there was nothing left for them to accomplish so they just grazed all day. Wow, that's deep. Next time you go cow tipping be aware that they were once prominent members of a dominating empire.

Am I the only one watching the new Terminator TV show? I'm a big Terminator fan so to me it's pretty exciting, especially after hearing the rumor that Christian Bale may play John Connor in Terminator 4. Sarah Connor still needs to rediscover her bad-assedness from T2 but putting that dude in a minefield is a good start. In my opinion their cause is noble but futile. Machines will be a big part of our future no matter what...they are just more efficient at things than humans will ever be. Though I don't think they will completely take over cuz Cylons can't mate. I forsee a future where we replace our aging bodies with mechanical parts that enable us to mate at ten times the normal rate.

There is a classification of music called IDM, which stands for Intelligent Dance Music. What does that mean? If your dance music isn't labeled IDM, that means it's Dumb Dance Music. Either that or IDM is considered the middle ground and you are listening to GDM (Genius Dance Music). What does GDM sound like? It's so complex that your body is unable to comprehend the notion of rhythm and instead feeds to your brain a series of signals that stimulate your mind to the point where your spiritual aura is physically dancing on its own. An example of GDM? Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up.

There's this game I keep forgetting to mention called Ninja Warriors Again. It was on the Super Nintendo many years ago, but I still play this game more than any other. Basically, you play a robot ninja (which is all you really need to hear) and your character is so powerful that by the end of the game you single-handedly destroy an entire country with your bare hand and numbchucks. In the beginning you'll probably laugh at how easy it is to toss legions of people around like rag dolls but it gets pretty tough later on. The game is incredibly fun but no one's really heard of it so it's my duty spread the word and get people in on the experience!

Was it great seeing the Patriots lose or what? They've always caught all the lucky breaks so it was extremely satisfying to see it go the other way. I'm not a New York fan by any means but watching that performance by the D-line was very satisfying. How do you know if someone is a real football fan? If they thought the first three quarters of the Super Bowl were boring and the end of the 4th quarter was the only exciting part. This was the only game all year where Tom Brady actually looked human. Sure, he didn't score a lot of points but that's exactly why it was exciting...cuz it never happened all season! Congrats to that D-line, even though Eli won the MVP (justified from that last drive) in my eyes it was that line that won the game.

It's waaay past its lifecycle but I'm starting to use my 6 year old laptop again. I installed Linux on it and it runs great. BTW - if you have an old PCMCIA or USB wireless network card let me know and I'll buy it off you. The funny thing is, I tried to break this laptop several times and it's still going strong. I already had to replace the video card and power supply on my 3 year old desktop but even when trying to break the laptop I didn't have to replace anything on it. When I buy my next laptop it will probably be an HP again, just on the strength of how good this one is.

Even though they lost last night, it's a great time to be a Lakers fan.
